It is a little tighter around the bottom so it bunches up on your head a little. I wouldn't call it a skull cap cause it is kind of baggy. I would probably fit better if I had more hair but it just looks weird without it. It also had some strings hanging out that I had to cut off.

This would fit a newborn baby, not my 12 year old who wanted it based on the picture. Was nicely made for being so small.
