This is a wonderful scarf. My wife had it and I "borrowed" it.
Pros
----
You can put it on or take it off while skiing without removing your helmet or hat.
The double velcro secures it well.
It's not too thick. So, it can fit under the edge of your goggles to cover every inch of your face.
It's fleece so it dries quick. Blot any moisture with paper towels and a quick run under the hand dryer and it's warm and ready to go again.
It's easy to breath through and talk through. I don't like the neoprene ones as well
Cons
----
It ices up from your breath. But all scarfs do that.
If you push it down to cool off on the chair lift, it can roll and be hard to get back into position.
Bottom line, I'm ordering a couple more as spares.

Very lightweight and easy to put in your pocket. I put it in the washer, and it started getting little fuzzies.

I like this mask, as it stops the cold air from entering your mouth and ultimately your lungs. I have had two miserable bouts of coughing in Dec and Jan and was advised by my herbalist that I had weak lungs and I should not work out on my treadmill in extreme cold without covering my nose and mouth with a scarf. I ordered this after using a scarf for a week. My only issue with it, and it happened with the scarf as well, is that the hot air you breathe hits the fabric, and then back to your face, making your face hot and sweaty irregardless of how cold it is outside. So a weird feeling of having a cold body and a sweaty hot face.

A bit too short. Either that or i got abnormally long neck. If i pull it on the face a bit like on the pictures - neck is pretty much becoming naked. And if you got long hair or pony tail - velcro bits will keep catching them ;)
Overwise its pretty nice.
