5 out of 5 stars Three Season Gloves   January 9, 2007

I have been wearing Isotoner unlined gloves for years. They fit well and are just enough protection most of the year. Other Isotoner gloves with linings are too bulky. The unlined ones are easy to take when traveling, especially if you aren't sure you'll need gloves at all. Before I purchased these gloves online I tried unsuccessfully to buy them at three major department stores in my area. None were carrying them for the winter season. Last spring when I tried, they weren't carrying them because they were already stocked for summer. So I went to Amazon and was thrilled to find them in red as well as black.

These gloves are so comfortable. And perfect for driving, not bulky and unsafe like other gloves. Warmth without compromising mobility. They are the best gloves I've found.

I love my Isotoner gloves; other cold weather gloves are too slippery and bulky for driving. Though they could be a tad warmer, I like them more than any other gloves I own. For driving and comfort in cool weather, they are the best.

I have been using Isotoner stretch driving gloves for years. They are everything they claim to be: very flexible, comfortable, stylish, plus they offer a great grip. They fit beautifully, and, if cared for properly, they last a very long time. Just hand wash them in cold water and hang dry. I never drive without them.

The unlined Isotoner stretch gloves used to be readily available in all sorts of stores, even in small cities. Now they are hard to find, and when I do find the Isotoner brand, it is usually the LINED (i.e. BULKY) version. Not only do these make a great driving glove (in a warm, heated car), they are easy to give as a gift because the Regular or X-Large sizes will fit anybody. I like them for "everyday" because they are reasonably priced, and I can wash them in a lingerie bag in my washer when I wash my parka or sweaters (I do air-dry them on the edge of the laundry basket). I have a couple of pairs of fancier soft leather, silk-lined gloves, which I save for "dressy" occasions. They are definitely no better for driving than the much cheaper Isotoner gloves, and they also are not warmer for walking around in cold winter weather (if you have to be outside for more than a few minutes under those conditions, you need heavy-duty gloves or mittens - which can be slipped OVER the Isotoner ones).
